Hi All, this dish is so good and easy to make. I am a big meat eater, as you can see! This is a great dish to pair with veggies on the side. My kids eat this up! Try it and let me know what you think.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups of rice
1 pack of turkey sausage
5-6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 pound of shrimp (no tail and deveined)
3 minsed garlic cloves
1 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped green bell pepper
chopped green onions
3 tablespoons of canola oil
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil rice in water until tender. While the rice is boiling, season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat the 2 tablespoons of canola oil in a skillet and brown the chicken thighs.
2. In a large pot heat one tablespoon of canola oil and sauté the chopped garlic, onions, and bell peppers. When vegetables are caramelized and chopped sausage, chicken, and shrimp. Cook until shrimp is fully cooked.
3. When the rice is fully cooked add meat, veggies and mix. You can add a little more salt, pepper and garlic powder for an extra kick. Top the dish off with green onions and mix! Enjoy!!
